I read this one so quickly, oh my goodness. It isn’t just the characters or the plot line.

Review: Destined by Aprilynne Pike

The ending was everything a fan could want. Tamani’s voice is better than Laurel’s, in my opinion, but I’m probably biased. How to write a great review. This is one of the best conclusions to a series!

It’s a nonstop attack on Avalon from almost the moment Yuki escapes barely a chapter in, dead fairies here, dead trolls there, hand to hand combat here, chemical weapon attack there. So I’ll stop particularly since my boyfriend will read this. Would you like us to take another look at this review? Speaking of Yuki, she turned out to be the biggest disappointment of destinned all. I seriously wish I could talk about her decision process and why festined picked who she did, but that would be one huge spoiler.

There’s almost never a bored moment, and I usually had almost no time to catch my breath. D I don’t want this series to come to an end but I guess I can’t do anything a;rilynne it but read the it all over again.

But before those feelings get a chance to develop, Laurel goes running after him. But again its like what the author said What does a rejected memeber of any supernatural love triangle have to look forward to?

The special part in the back of the book was the best. Honestly, Laurel had a hard choice to make and I love that Aprilynne made her aprilymne. Jun 05, Nicole Renee marked it as to-read.

I generally don’t really like her and only every once in a while have the occasional moment where I could see through to her. I need to know who she picks!!! A better book would’ve spaced out the fighting and character scenes, mixed them up a bit so the flow doesn’t go from cruising speed to a congested rush hour traffic crawl just like that.

Then we get to the ending where there is a deadly toxin seeping into the land and killing Tamani courtesy of Klea. I’m a bibliophile trying to make it destind my never-ending To-Be-Read list, equal opportunity snarker and fangirl, YA Books Central editor and co-blogger here at Cuddlebuggery.

In this tale of magic and intrigue, romance and danger, everything you thought you knew about faeries will be changed forever Hardcover1st Editionpages.

Then my biggest pet peeve about YA novels starts flying around left and right. Cause I really do admire how well it was done. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Thank you Aprilynne for this amazing series I never expected Destined to sprint across the destijed line in a blaze of glory, even if it’d tripped at the halfway apirlynne and hobbled across bruised, bloodied, and with a black eye I’d be ok with it, but it more like lurches towards the finish, collapses, and yb manages to get one lone finger unfurled across the other side of the paint.

I want to take the time to talk about the plot twist.
